The EMMA Awards are open to any person who believes they are from this rich and diverse ethnic/multicultural background within their country of residence. Whether they serve their own community within their relative media sector or work within the definition of mainstream media which may even serve a wider global audience. We invite a wide range of nominations from as broad a spectrum as possible, and hope that all sections of the media and other professionals will be represented at the awards to add support to this truly multicultural event, which has honoured the likes of Muhammad Ali, Nelson Mandela, Lord Attenborough and Maya Angelou etc. for the EMMA Lifetime Achievement Award and Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Bruce Lee for the EMMA Legend Award accepted by their families.

Votes and nominations are submitted via the Internet at the EMMA website address www.emma.tv using the application form provided. Each person is only entitled to two nominations. The EMMA on-line voting campaign will ultimately determine the winner in each category (excluding the Lifetime Achievement and Legend Award) with a pro-active advertising campaign, which covers the minority and mainstream media. The Lifetime Achievement Awards and Legend Award will be selected by a distinguished panel of established personalities.  Their decisions will be final in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into at anytime before, during or after the awards completion.

Finalists for each category will be invited to their respective award ceremonies at an exclusive venue to experience and be part of this star-studded event and possibly receive the famous EMMA Award to highlight their own humanitarian and professional achievement.

Together with your form, in no more than 250 words, please outline the reasons for your nomination as stated on the application form.  This should briefly but precisely describe the work, the audience it serves, and explain how it has achieved the relevant objectives in terms of your given goals within a multicultural world.

Please ensure you include full details when completing personal details, sections A or B, EMMA voting (selecting nominees in advance).
